About Me

I'm a software developer who enjoys coding both professionally and a hobby. I love exploring emerging technologies, whether it's new programming languages, frameworks, or self-hostable open-source projects.

When I'm not debugging, I'm usually hanging out with Ponçik, my Shih Tzu and self-declared household overlord, or spending time with my daughter Ada (Yes, like Lovelace, the first programmer, but her name actually means "island" in Turkish.), or enjoying time with my wife, the true CEO of our home.

I used to game frequently, but these days, finding time for that has become a rare luxury.

This blog, "Somehow I Code", is a nod to Michael Scott's literary masterpiece "Somehow I Manage", and and it reflects my own philosophy when it comes to tech and life in general: just figure it out as you go. You’ll mostly find posts about software development and AI here, along with the occasional detour into whatever else has captured my curiosity. And on particularly unhinged days, I might even drop a spicy political take that absolutely no one asked for.
